Dorinda teaches hatha yoga in the B.K.S. Iyengar tradition, incorporating breath work, asana, yin, restorative postures, and a dash of humor.

"In 2018, when I relocated from Sonoma to Walnut Creek, I looked for a yoga class to continue my practice. A friend highly recommended Dorinda Nyberg, who taught at a local studio. I was not familiar with Iyengar Yoga, but immediately found it to be a perfect practice for me. When Dorinda moved her practice to Danville, I followed her, first in person and then during COVID via Zoom. Dorinda is an experienced Iyengar instructor, who blends her instruction with a basic understanding of human physiology. She is a patient instructor, who often checks in to see how her students are doing. If she observes a student is struggling with a pose, she will offer suggestions for modifying the pose to achieve the desired results. While Dorinda takes her instruction seriously, she often uses humor to lighten the mood. I have thoroughly enjoyed my years of practice with Dorinda and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced Iyengar instructor. "
